This week we have done our first ever photo shoot for our gorgeous new laptop bag range from The Old Bag Company, as it’s to be expected when trying something new, we spent quite a few hours trying to find the correct angles, lighting and product position. We managed to snap over 150 images of two products, I uploaded them last night and picked the best 6 shots for cropping and uploading to the site. We hope you like them, the dotty insides are just as beautiful as the outside. We have a few more products lined up for extra images so keep checking the product pages and see if you can spot which we have taken ourselves. Take a look at the finished images here

We were really proud of Sarah this week when she was asked to write a guest post for business women’s blog Birds on the blog. She was asked to pick a topic to write about that will (hopefully) help and inspire other women to go into business. We thought we couldn’t have been more excited than when we won the #SBS award on Twitter from Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis back in January, but when we heard that we were invited to the awards ceremony to meet the other winners and the man himself we could not contain our excitement!!
The day itself was amazing. We got to mingle with the other winners from weeks gone by and put faces to Twitter names (extremely difficult if the Twitter image isn’t the owners face), then the man himself had a brief chat to us all before the big event and unveiling. Most of us had a feeling something special was about to happen, and it certainly was. We were led through to the conference room where a huge screen was in place above the stage. When Theo Paphitis took to the stage there is definitely an air of excitement and anticipation for what was to come. We were not disappointed. Theo started by telling us the history of the #SBS and where he saw it moving in future. He unveiled the brand new SBS Winners website built by previous SBS winner Metal Frog Studios Ltd which is an amazing community where all the SBS small businesses can share ideas and successes which we are now part of. It is such an exciting time for Rightbag and all the SBS winners. Theo was an absolute gent throughout the event, even though it overran by two hours he was still smiling and having his picture taken when we left. Altogether an amazing day filled with excitement, positivity and a new found energy that we can all help each other.

One of our favourite topics of discussions is about Apps for the iPhone and iPad. Here in the office we have done a survey of our favourite ones that we want to share with you.
The App Epicurious is one of our favourites. Search through over 30,000 delicious and professionally made recipes created by renowned chefs. You can save your favourite ones, email them to yourself or friends and create shopping lists. This handy little app can be used on the iPhone or iPad. We love that it will find recipes for you depending on what you have in the fridge and that you can see how many people have made a certain dish and what percentage of those would make it again.
Another absolute favourite is MapMyRun, this handy app can be used to measure pace, distance, calories and stats on any run or workout. All the data is synced securely on their website, letting you go back and see how much you are improving week on week. On the website itself you will find a database of over 26 million routes, sponsored challenges and a community of over 5 million fitness enthusiasts. The app can also track your run in the background so you can listen to music on your iPhone or iPod at the same time.
The Evernote app turns the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad into a tool for remembering anything and everything that happens in your life. Notes, ideas and recordings can all be put into Evernote and synchronized to your iPhone or your laptop. Everything you do on your phone and on your computer gets synchronized to your Evernote account on the Web. We find Evernote most useful for these things – to jot notes, create to-do lists, clip entire Web pages, manage passwords, and record audio. Try it you’ll be hooked!
