We thought we couldn’t have been more excited than when we won the #SBS award on Twitter from Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis back in January, but when we heard that we were invited to the awards ceremony to meet the other winners and the man himself we could not contain our excitement!!
The day itself was amazing. We got to mingle with the other winners from weeks gone by and put faces to Twitter names (extremely difficult if the Twitter image isn’t the owners face), then the man himself had a brief chat to us all before the big event and unveiling. Most of us had a feeling something special was about to happen, and it certainly was. We were led through to the conference room where a huge screen was in place above the stage. When Theo Paphitis took to the stage there is definitely an air of excitement and anticipation for what was to come. We were not disappointed. Theo started by telling us the history of the #SBS and where he saw it moving in future. He unveiled the brand new SBS Winners website built by previous SBS winner Metal Frog Studios Ltd which is an amazing community where all the SBS small businesses can share ideas and successes which we are now part of. It is such an exciting time for Rightbag and all the SBS winners. Theo was an absolute gent throughout the event, even though it overran by two hours he was still smiling and having his picture taken when we left. Altogether an amazing day filled with excitement, positivity and a new found energy that we can all help each other.
