To top our exciting week after being in the paper, Sarah our founder, decided to enter Rightbag into Theo Paphitis’s (from the BBC’s Dragon’s Den) Small Business Sunday competition on Twitter. Any small business can enter, you just have to tweet Theo your business link between 5.30 – 7pm and he will personally select his 6 favourite businesses and re-tweet them to his 217,000 followers. This was only the second time Rightbag had been entered, with this week having over 1,000 businesses entering and we won! How amazing is that!
We had over 200 tweets of congratulations to our Twitter account @Right_Bag and a 600% increase in hits on the website that evening. We are were very surprised since we are such a young business and feel truly honoured to be part of such an elite group.
